Beckford Open Village 2016

An opportunity to view a cross-section of life in a village community, and enjoy a stroll in at least 15 beautiful gardens and the village’s own Nature Reserve – a site of Special Scientific Interest. Additionally there will be themed flower displays in the Grade 1 listed 12th century church. Teas, Champagne Bar and Barbecue, also attractions for children including a Quiz Trail. Classic Cars, Vintage Radio, Tennis and Croquet demonstrations, plus historic photograph collection of the village. Tours of the ringing chamber and bell-ringing demonstrations. New this year: admission to the former Private Chapel of Beckford Hall. (Separate fee). Funds raised are principally for the maintenance of St John’s Church, Beckford.

Opening times: 1.00pm to 6.00pm each day. Entry fee of £5.00 per adult covers both days, accompanied under 16s free. Pre-booked groups are eligible for a 20% discount plus one free ticket if the party is comprised of 20 or more. Small extra charge for entry to the former Private Chapel of Beckford Hall. Tickets available on the day at the Village Hall car park or at any of the gardens
